* What does Zeni Geva stands for? The meaning of "Money violence"?
ZENI means "money" in old Japanese term, and GEVA is taken from GEWALD (German) which means violence or strife. In the late 60's - early 70's there's MANGA titled ZENI GEBA which describes the very dark side of humanity, the story about the man who kills anybody for money. Actually I took ZENI GEVA after this manga and just changed one letter B to Z, as it looks cooler.
* The basic music genre you have been playing since the start was always genre crossing between heavy metal and noise rock. Why?
Why? I don't know why? Because it's our nature, instinct......?
* It`s been almost ten years since your last studio album "10 000 light years". Any news on that standpoint, do you plan to release more studio albums?
We just have a new live album "Alive and Rising" out, which was recorded in Japan last September, and of course we're very positive about making a new studio album. Hopefully it will happen in the near future.
* What are those instruments - ultrasonik, nulltron, kaosspad?
Ultrasonik is a combination of some guitar effect pedals such as fuzz, dely, picthshifter.
Nulltron is actually a cheap small casio keyboard. I took after Mellotron, just playing with words.
Kaosspad is a name of the commercial product by KORG. It's effector & sampler you can control and manipulate with touching & rubbing "pad".
* Could you compare the insight to Japansese indie music scene nowdays and back when you stated? Any differences and similarities?
I'm not a journalist and don't go to see the bands in Tokyo, so I'm not in the position to make a comment.
* What have you been working on when not dealing with Zeni Geva?
Working on solo stuff as KK NULL and also collaborations.
* Who was the producer that managed to capture the Zeni Geva sound in the most satisyfing way?
We're not satisfied yet!!
* Which of the albums you have recorded so far you consider as the peak?
We don't reach yet the peak!!
