Well, one thing is for sure – He didn`
t sit down and moan.
Instead of just moaning he wrote songs and moan the lockdown. Together with his partner Warrel Ellis he brings eight new non soundtrack pieces called another word for slaughter.
And its easy and downtempo and dangerous.
And it has two masterpieces – White Elephant and Carnage.
Their first after the “Ghosteen” (2019) and its more likely playable and not so tough to conclude. Not one of them is filler, as you may imagine. And He sings with his charismatic and charachteristic voice about deep down and dirty wholes of the souls. And absolutely brilliant Biblical judistical metaphoers.
Each time you ask yourself how come he writes so marvelous, he throws up a new bunch of master pieces. And leaves you with more and more questionmarks. Once again.
