Staying true to the roots of the beautiful REM evergreen “Drive” from the “Auomatic For The People” album (1992.), Eddie Vedder gives a touch of his bariton. The purpose is known as the second collaboration with Sean Penn on the soundtrack for his new movie “Flag Day”.
A downbeat crime drama has an album like it was the case with “Into The Wild”. The album features nine new songs that feature some kind of contribution from Vedder, mostly collaborations with Glen Hansard, the Irish rocker, collaborations with Eddie’s 17-year-old daughter Olivia Vedder, and we already posted her debut single “My Father’s Daughter”, and Chan Marshal/Cat Power on few also beautiful slow down tracks.
Hardly this tune is going to get official video but it will surely be the one people will love to discuss. Cause the obvious reasons. Its relevant and beautiful. (Natasha Trempton)
